Great news on the Kendall Harmon Case (The Case of the Gimpy Guy)

The surgeon had informed us that if he thought a partial knee replacement was appropriate this is what he would do. We had prepared for a total knee with the hopes of being surprised by a partial … and by God’s grace … a partial is what he needed! Kendall is out of surgery, in the recovery room with expectations of being discharged tomorrow. Thank you for all your prayers. Elizabeth Harmon

Yes now Kendall DO THE PHYSIO for up to six weeks or so afterwards. It is very boring. But essential.

With reference to the physio, I repeat what my therapist used to sing when I muttered how hard I had to work after knee surgery: No pain, no gain. (I think he may have been correct.)

Fantastic news. Praise God. With only a partial knee replacement, hopefully the recovery time will be shorter. Thanks for jumping in, Elizabeth, and informing us all right away.

Thanks be to God for orthopaedic surgeons, OR teams, and physical therapists. And also for morphine and pain pumps. (Better living through chemistry.)

GREAT!! But, prayers for healing continue. And Rugby is still probably not a good idea… 🙂

  19. Teatime2 says:

Getting into this late because I`m recovering from hip surgery but I wanted to add my prayers and some advice — ergonomic crutches make a big difference! I`m using DonJoy ReBound crutches, they are also called Millennial, Hope, and probably other names for the same thing. 🙂 Happy healing!
