Muslims are among Britain’s most generous givers, topping a poll of religious groups that donate to charity, according to new research.
Muslims who donated to charity last year gave an average of almost £371 each, with Jewish givers averaging just over £270 per person.

I don’t have a subscription, so I can not read the whole article.
Two questions occur to me, however. First, is this a calculation based on the amount per giving account –that is, a man counts as one person even though his donation may be on behalf of himself, his wife and six children — or is the donation averaged over the total family unit — divide the above by eight?
Second, in either case, am I supposed to be impressed with an average of $10-$15 per week as a donation?
