I would change the title of the blog post though, this is so much more than a “defense of GAFCON” – this is a superb exposition and exhortation re: the 39 articles and what it means to believe the truth of the power of the Gospel and live in submission to the authority of Scripture.

One thing among many that struck me was the absolutely vivid contrast between Abp. Wabukala’s lucidity and the theological mumbo jumbo and confusion / obscurity of some of the revisionist writings he quotes. The gospel truth shines light and brings clarity and LIFE. Confusion and obfuscation is of the enemy.
This talk has greatly encouraged me, and the Holy Spirit has challenged me through Abp. Wabukala’s words, particularly his section on the power of the gospel.
