Archbishop of Canterbury calls for prayer ahead of Primates' Gathering

“What I would ask people to pray for more than anything else is wisdom and love. That the love of Christ for each of us, for each of us who are sinners, each of us who fail, will so overwhelm us that we are able to love each other as we should. And wisdom that we may know the call and purpose of God and in love and wisdom serve his world in the way he calls us to.”

To my knowledge, this is the first-ever Primates’ gathering to feature a twitter account and meeting hashtag: #primates2016.

    Fancy graphics, too.

You really have to admire the ABCs press office. I think their perception of the agenda is very interesting. Based on all I have read and what I have heard from the mouths of GS bishops, my guess is there won’t be an agenda at all until and unless the ABC recognises ACNA as a collateral jurisdiction in the US and lets AB Beach attend all the meetings. I really doubt the meeting is going to be about the environment and SSMs. But as one wag said, TEC and Canada’s new mantra is “and they shall beat their swords into solar panels”.
