As long as we don’t all try to go shopping at the same time that is.

    Wow, that’s disturbing.

Not terribly surprising, with the switch to vast warehouse-like stores with wide aisles. A Best Buy & a Super WalMart both take up a good bit of square footage. I would like to know what the historical number has been. Is this oddly high, and if so how recently and how suddenly did the change come about?

Actually, isn’t it the job of free people engaging in legal commerce to decide how much retail space they choose to create by putting their own wealth at risk? Just who would Mr. Davidowitz suggest is more competent to make that determination in America? Or perhaps the structure of our society is not to Mr. Davidowitz’s liking.

While we are at it – let’s consider the multiple square feet some of our houses have. And I mean in the 5 figures, not four. Sadly enough peiople have had to dump them cause they could no longer afford them!!.
