At this morning’s Eucharist we celebrated the Birth of John the Baptist. In the afternoon I fear that we have celebrated the Feast of his Martyrdom. I suspect that the ACC has removed its thinking head on this one, and parked it at the door.
Unless there is going to come something which declared SSB to be in conflict with Secondary doctrine, adiaphora, or a breach of good order and discipline…
THE Ang Ch of Canada debate certainly falls short when measured by this standard.
Perhaps, presumptuous of me to add to Rahner, but I would include that one cannot love the object of his thought enough.
