Yes the process has been torn up much like the way General Convention in TEc has pushed things through in the U.S., but I disagree that one can be “open to the idea that gender transition is a good thing” and remain in the evangelical camp. THe “core identity” argument does not seem to be something that would stand up to scrutiny. The “fallen human” argument makes sense up until one asks for a blessing of that fallen state.
