I note Resolution 2008-07 “Pledge to National Church”. I wonder how long 815 will let that pass once the current round of departures is over.

These are much more reasonable than what we are facing in the Diocese of Michigan.
Resolution #2 Funding for advocacy and social justice ministries of the diocese including Transgender Bisexual Lesbian Gay Concerns Committee
Resolution #3 authorizing direct solicitations for above ministries
Resolution #5 Inclusion of all persons regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression as full and equal participants in life of Christ’s Church (including calling for GC2009 to develop public liturgies for for the blessing of same sex unions)
Resolution #6 – amend the canosn of the Episcopal Church to clarify the inclusion of all persons regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity…..etc.
Resolution #9 Support for the U.S. Congress’ employment non-discrimination act (that sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression be included in classes protected by ENDA).
Resolution #10 – Diocesan Convention express its profound disappointment in the exlucsion of the Bishop of New Hampshire form the fellowship of Lambeth Conference.

I wonder if the “Consent to Junction” will be allowed by the GC if the “Communion Partners” resolution passes.

Interesting. What follows is one of the most striking spin statements I’ve ever heard. It’s simply Brilliant!

The Mission Field is larger than it has ever been!

Is that code for “Our ASA is the lowest it has ever been?”

    KTF!…mrb

“Junction” makes a lot of sense. Eau Claire has been losing members and its Plate $ Pledge has seen no increase since 2002. Fond Du Lac is much healthier and a natural for “Junction”. But this move may not fit well with the “all is well” TEC spirit. Statmann
