In the mid nineties, a group of kids in a prosperous commuter community just south of Atlanta started experimenting sexually (parents both worked in Atlanta) and ended up creating a sexual disease epidemic that shocked the Center for Disease Control. These were young teens, some were middle schoolers who had hundreds of partners.
What a contrast to find this right after the article on teen hookups. Love has lost its meaning to many teens and has no connection to sex.
