B.C. Anglican group may leave parish over same-sex marriage debate

A rogue Anglican group will hold a vote Sunday on whether to split from its Victoria-area parish over its views on same-sex marriage, a church leader confirmed Monday.

Bruce Bryant-Scott, the archdeacon of the Vancouver Island Diocese of the Anglican Church of Canada, said St. Matthias parishioners will decide whether to join the breakaway Anglican Network in Canada, which opposes same-sex unions.

    A rogue Anglican group

The war of words continues. Why not a loyal Anglican group dissatisfied with the rogue Anglican Church of Canada…”?

    Geesh give me a break!
You cannot vote and please leave the check in the plate and here is your new heretic priest to “feed” you.
Don’t forget to bring the children…

Interesting spin by the Diocese of B.C. “We’re not even going to consider it [blessing SSU’s] until a larger body above us, the Anglican Church of Canada says we can.” However, the Bishop of this diocese has made it pretty clear where he is headed. He has also authorized a service of “Giving Thanks with Same-Sex Couples.”
Here is part of the prayer after Communion: “Grant that by your Holy Spirit, N. and N. may become one in heart and soul, live in fidelity and peace, and obtain those eternal joys…” Sounds like a blessing service to me.

SAy not rogue, say, rather, prophetic! The speaking of the truth to the powers that be is prophetic! Even when it is the conservatives speaking to the liberals. When is a rogue not a rogue? When a rouge?
