    favorite part:
[blockquote] we call on the UN, working with other global institutions, to establish an effective mechanism to monitor the impact of the crisis on the poorest and most vulnerable. Specifically, we believe that everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, should receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark…[/blockquote]

“build an inclusive, green, and sustainable recovery”??!!

OMG, did they plagiarize this from a TEC manifesto? I think the poster here (http://www.despair.com/government.html) summarizes how I feel about all this.

  3. LfxN says:

Fair enough, but they couldn’t say ‘build an exclusive, polluting and unsustainable recovery’ now could they? I know that governments can’t serve as a basis of hope for salvation, but that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t try and set just and responsible goals for governance…
