Interestingly at about 4:30 into Part 3 Bonnie Anderson labels the actions of those of us in the four diocese who have left TEC as “spiritual abuse”. Jim Simons was quick to speak and to make sure those words were to be attributed to Bonnie not him. Bonnie said “okay with me” and then Jim bolted from the table. Oh well!

    David,
How do you define “bolt”? Looks like he was there for at least another minute and a half before departing. Maybe delayed reaction (for what you are implying)? What’s your point?
It’s too bad The Mentalist wasn’t sitting in and then offering an explanation for the body language and hand wringing that Bonnie did after her “fine” comment, and Jim’s holding her accountable.
I would say furtive glances suggest Jim causes a certain amount of anxiety among this leadership group.

    Hi Rob
Perhaps I should have said ” abruptly left the panel before the discussion ended”. I agree about the group’s futive glances and the anxiety level Jim could be engendering — I think there is probably anxiety on his part as well.
