I wish that I could say I’ve never been guilty of any of these, whether preaching at a worship service or speaking to our teenagers on Sunday morning or Wednesday night. Good reminders for anyone who has any kind of teaching or preaching role in the church. I do not remember the person who originally said it (it may have been Jim Rayburn), but Young Life folks often repeat the following when speaking of their philosophy of ministry: “It’s a sin to bore a teenager with the Gospel.”
