  1. Northwest Bob says:

NW Bob just arrived back in the “lower 48” after a four week business stint above the arctic circle in Alaska, even more north and west that his usual habitat. This is the best news he could have read. God bless the Diocese of South Carolina. The clarity, brevity, and force of these statements are emblematic of the work of the Holy Spirit. May the Presiding Bishop, her staff, her attorneys, and her devotees recant their heresies and repent of their many sins, including misrepresenting the gospel and bringing law suits against fellow Christians. And may God forgive all of us, including NW Bob, of our sins and any contribution to the situation we may have made. May you all have a thoughtful and faithful Holy Week culminating in the joyous celebration of our salvation through the miracle of the risen Christ.
    In Hoc Signo Vinces,
    NW Bob

Big congratulations to all!! Many blessings on your endeavors.

Now get a big pile of Palmetto logs stacked up around Charleston, because you’re going to need them.

  3. TreadingGrain says:

Kendall, do you have the totals on the roll call votes for the canonical changes?

  4. William Witt says:

This is worthy of a Te Deum!

  5. Paula Loughlin says:

Boy howdy, those are wonderful. God bless all those who stand and light the way to the Gospel.

#1, While your expressed idea that the PB and her devotees about recanting their heresies is laudable and I would be among the first to express my thanksgiving for such an action, I think the chances of that happening are somewhere between slim and none.

  7. Ad Orientem says:

    Re # 6
    SC blu cat lady,
I think “slim” just caught the last train to San Francisco. That leaves you with “none.”

  8. Cennydd says:

Thank God for Bishop Lawrence and the good people of the Diocese of South Carolina! Of course, this news is going to go over like a lead balloon at 815, and you can be sure that Schori and Company will have DBB in for a ‘strategy planning meeting’ tomorrow……or Monday at the latest.

  9. WestJ says:

The roll call votes were overwhelmingly in favor of the resolutions (94 yea to 5 nay for R3. The other votes were similar)

  10. Kendall Harmon says:

We hope to be able to post the vote totals by Monday when they are available for the ones where numbers were recorded Ii.e. not voice votes).

  11. upnorfjoel says:

You’re probably right #2….815 can take another million or so out of “Mission”, and fire up some more legal teams.
