It was a wonderful interview. Unfortunately, he has just announced his intention to resign by the end of the year and enter into the Roman Catholic church.

Truly, there is little if any time left for the orthodox Anglicans in America. Those who have been saying patience, wait for the Lambeth 2008 or the covenant or whatever are plainly in the wrong.

And what group can provide for the orthodox in this short amount of time? Common Cause.

It sounds like ++Rowan’s presence is the only thing keeping the bishops from going at it hammer and tong. Is it any wonder a godly man like +Steenson is headed for the peaceful waters of the Tiber?

Yes, the interview was touching. One could plainly see (no matter how hard he tried to hide it) a broken heart. I never knew him, or even much about him, but was very moved by his calm and Christian manner.

Sarah did a wonderful job on this one. I noted especially what he does when he wakes up in the middle of the night. He “goes out to his garage, and works on the boat he is building” for a sense of peace.

However, glad I was not doing the interview, because I would have asked if it were, by any chance an ARK ?

Blessings to this Godly man, Lord help heal his heart which belongs to you..
AMEN

Along with Herzog and Pope that makes three Episcopal bishops crossing the Tiber this year (well re-crossing for those two). Does anybody know of any other possibles before the end of the year?
I think Professor Tighe intimated that Iker might be a possibility a while back. What chance Duncan?
