This is really eye-opening. Karen Kingsbury has written some about it from a Christian perspective in “Unlocked;” Jodi Picault in “House Rules.” I pray for God’s hand in the lives of these families and God’s hand on the research that helps to unlock those secret parts of the autistic person’s mind.
Beautiful story…autistic children are indeed angels, bringing immense challenges–and joy. My niece and her husband have three boys, all on the Autism Spectrum.
