The next time you walk into church, or your synagogue or mosque, say a little thanks to God for our founding principles. There’s a lot for which to be grateful, after all, and the freedom to worship is among our greatest blessings.
But a new report by Pew Research Center’s Forum on Religion & Public Life has revealed a disturbing pattern: Nearly a third of the globe’s population ”” 2.2 billion people ”” live in countries where religious persecution increased between 2006 and 2009.
This story has its own blindness about the way the First Amendment is becoming a dead letter on some issues here. For example, there is nothing about Gay Rights in the U.S. Constitution being able to usurp the protection religion has. Yet in a number of states Catholic Charities has been driven out of one of the oldest ministries in Christian history–arranging adoptions for children.
It is not a case of public funds alone. In Ma. an adoption agency also needs a permit from the state which now is barred by current pro Gay laws and court decisions because the Church has insisted on standing by its moral principles.

9/11 was a national event and BILLIONS of taxpayer dollars went to rebuild NYC and prop it up and thousands of churches with millions of faithful in them prayed for NYC.
Mayor Bloomberg, you are a disgrace to this country and the religous folks who founded it, who have fought to preserve it, and who go to work everyday to keep it running. An absolute disgrace sir!
Anti-discrimination laws are the tool of choice for religious persecution.

The “tolerant” progressive so-called Christians have allied with the atheists and are the enemies of religious freedom. They label traditional religious thought as “hate-speech” to stamp out orthodoxy.
