Do we know who the consecrators will be? I hope this post is not replied to with derogatory comments about the Presiding Bishop or anyone else for that matter, we’ve been down that road before. I am just curious as to which bishops shall be the main three consecrators and hoping that numbered in those three will be Bishop Salmon…

r-storm – totally agree. Would like to know who they will be, but don’t need any snide remarks……..This is S.C.’s day, as well as Fr. Lawrence’s. God Bless all who attend and participate…..

By not saying in who the Chief Consecrator is going to be in this informational material entitled “Mark Lawrence Consecration Details,” the organizers and the Diocese of South Carolina are simply providing gas for some fire that is surely acoming.
We really need to know who is and who is NOT coming.
Nobody should forgot the love, passion, and emotion that the faithful have spent on this matter of the election of Fr. Lawrence
    to this very befitting position.
We are praying and hoping for the best for the Bishop-elect and the good people of South Carolina.

All, Kendall has previously expressed his frustration with the way every thread about Mark Lawrence’s upcoming consecration quickly turns to the question of who will be the chief consecrator. He has answered that question repeatedly. It is NOT going to be Presiding Bishop Schori.

    See Kendall’s comment here:

And now please stop the speculation.

I am so pleased for SC and for all the “Church” that Fr. Lawrence will be consecrated bishop! I joyfully anticipate the mission and ministry that will proceed from his episcopate. Well done good and faithful servants — you have hung in there amongst great pressure and have seen to it that another faithful bishop will be added to our ranks.
