Congratulations to Elizabeth. I’m curious about her gown. The usual color for medicine is green. Is the orange a MUSC variant?

  2. Elizabeth H. says:

    Dear TomRightmyer,
The color is officially called apricot – for nursing. I earned a Doctorate of Nursing Practice – this is a clinical doctorate ( as opposed to a D.Phil. – an academic doctorate).

    3. Warmest congrats! It’s a great accomplishment. Hope you get some relaxing time this summer.

  4. Ad Orientem says:

    Many years!

  5. TomRightmyer says:

Thank you, Dr. Elizabeth. Apricot is a lovely color, and a D.N.P. is, like a D.Min., a sign of seeking excellence in one’s vocation.

  6. Terry Tee says:

You realise that in Germany she would be called Dr Dr Harmon. I kid you not.
