    I was so upset when I first read of this on Midwest Conservative Journal, I called the liturgy committee idiots. I regret the name-calling, but maintain this proposal is deeply misguided. The wording of the new liturgy is nebulous (an Al-Qaeda militant could claim his work was to “reject evil”). It does not acknowledge Jesus’ reason for coming:[blockquote]The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8b)[/blockquote]
