I do think the Prof. has some valid points, while classic economist have blown it before, I think we can Keynesian things to death … but this is an election year, of course there will be a fiscal stimulus package. We should pray it does the most good with the least harm instead of emotional reactions mixed with political pressure.
I would agree–the three-humped, one-legged camel likely to be produced by the geniuses (both parties) running Congress will have little bearing on economic reality or ameliorative impact on the present situation.
