    Unicameral — isn’t this what the CofE said at PECUSA’s origins was not going to be possible if PECUSA wanted to be Anglican, even in its own distinctive way?
    I wonder how liberal Bishops will react to this?
    What a mess this denomination is becoming…

    Tucked in on p.8 (Reimagine Governance Structures)

    Resolved, That the diocesan assessment percentage be lowered while making it canonically
    mandatory (with means for pastoral exception) for each diocese to meet that assessment.

    Nice little diocese ya got there, be a shame if anything were to happen to it. We can offer ya “protection” so there ain’t no accidents, but it’s gonna cost ya.

    Resolved, That the Presiding Officers, in consultation with Executive Council, convene
    regional consultative groups of professionals such as developers, financiers, architects,
    designers, community organizers, urban planners, artists, social entrepreneurs, and lawyers
    to serve as a resource for congregations seeking to re-envision their space and its possible
    uses, with an eye for demographic changes and trends in their region, and that $200,000
    be allotted for this purpose;

    And just how many “developers, financiers, architects, designers, community organizers, urban planners, artists, social entrepreneurs, and lawyers” do you figure you are going to get when you stretch $200,000 over 3 years? Lunches are going to cost more than that.

    As I posted elsewhere on this work product; sounds like rearranging the deck chairs and polishing the silver on the Titanic.
