I’m confident ABC News will finally resolve this thorny issue.
#1-hilarity!
how in the world do they resolve the fact that there are more people now in the world then ever has been? we cannot all have lived past lives..even if i didn’t believe in God and heaven, i wouldn’t particularly wish to live life again; life is difficult most of the time for all beings on the earth. i would rather meet God and all my ancestors in heaven and have some rest and not worry.
2. Reminds me of a tongue in cheek science fiction short story I read. The idea was that there are a finite number of souls, which until a point in the story were more than was needed at any given time. Suddenly people started keeling over dead for absolutely no reason. After a period of research, it was found that the unexplained deaths exactly matched the number of births. So the solution was to nuke China and India.
Somehow this reminds me of vital research done which proved scientifically that prayer had no effect on the lives of others. Now it may not, for all I know, but the SCIENCE was hilarious. Larry
Isn’t it funny how people who believe in reincarnation never remember their past lives as a weasel or an aardvark?
