Christians are the number one target of persecution around the world, the Vatican’s foreign minister told the UN summit on Tuesday.
“The lack of respect for religious freedom represents a threat to security and peace,” Dominique Mamberti, Vatican secretary for external relations, told the UN General Assembly.
“We are seeing an increase in intolerance for religious reasons and unfortunately we note that Christians are the religious group which suffer the most persecution because of their faith,” said the cardinal.
Agreed. In the West it is white persecution. They won’t kill you, but they will vilify and seek to persecute you using the law.
Between Communism and Islam the last century has been a new age of martyrdom that makes the Romans pale by comparison.
If Christianity were do be made a crime, would there be enough evidence to convict you? It’s no longer a rhetorical question in the West.
As for me, I hope there is! Maranatha.
It is more grievous when Christians abuse others, especially children, even those unborn.
It is far worse for a Christian, especially one ordained, to be the perpetrator of abuse than the recipient.
