    Several of the points in the article were known to me probably from our former bishop who is a storehouse of bits of church history.Many of the presentations were made available online and I was able to watch through a number of them. I, too, thought it a rather important point that Bp Nazir-Ali made about the conditionality of the promise in connection to the Great Commision in Matthew’s Gospel.

    However this statement in the article

    perhaps needs a qualifier such as “first in the New World” since I presume this is a reference to Francis Drake and Nova Albion.
