Read it all. I have found the livestreaming from both Houses has been working pretty well. You may find the links to such here where you have see the colored squares for “Deputies” and “Bishops” for the two Houses.

If a congregation qualifies, would it be allowed to get odd from Diocesan Assessment? And why must TEC feel it is required to replicate American society in its membership? It is far better to discover which market will respond best to one’s product and then go after it. I think the flaw in TEC’s thinking comes from a subtle triumphalism which assumes that it is “the” church and therefore must adopt a scattershot approach to evangelism (oh, I know they use the word mission, but we all know it’s about growing the church). Instead, if one adopts the view that the entire congregation of the faithful everywhere is under one head, Jesus Christ, one is free to discover what niche in the Body of Christ is intended -and therefore, best- to occupy.
…get *let off* from Diocesan….
I take it this is separate to the $2 Million for church-planting – or is it that the figure in the draft budget been cut in half by the time it gets to the resolution stage?
Not that it matters – this is obviously just another leftist social justice project. It displays nothing that could remotely work in the way of church-planting, so it isn’t going to affect the slide in membership and income.
