Nationalism can be very dangerous – and, certainly, we Christians are called to allegiance to a different Kingdom. However, I am sad to say it surprised me so many actually knew the words to our National Anthem. We are a bit weaker for our lack of national spirit. This was a lovely reminder of how things once were – and might be again.
