It reads to me like a straightforward piece of “just the facts, Ma’am.” Good, since ENS sometimes reads like the P.R. department for the leaders of TEC. In this article, they didn’t spoil the party by seeking out the “Via Media” people in the diocese for a final quote.

#2, please, this is about Bp. Lawrence, not the person you are alluding to with your gratuitously insulting comment. There is nothing important about your remark. Please stay on thread.

  4. Pastor Rod says:

Having my usual Lutheran high church tendencies, I wondered if Bp. Donges from the ELCA’s South Carolina Synod will also be involved in Mark Lawrence’s consecration.

    Bob from Boone,
There’s nothing important about my remark? But Bob, the KJS resume’ promotion (by KJS and others) was and still remains in the secular media that she is a pilot and an oceanographer. If it’s important enough for KJS, et al to keep reiterating, then it must be important, right?
But, my point is that Fr. Lawrence has an excellent PASTORAL resume’ including longevity and repeated notable progress in his various PASTORAL endeavors.
