RIP. I enjoyed his work. He married in 1956, at the age of 28, and was still married to the same woman at his death.

  2. Kendall Harmon says:

I loved the Rockford files as one of the few really memorable shows when I was growing up. The characters made the story, Garner most especially.

  3. Katherine says:

I loved the Rockford Files, too. My husband saw “The Notebook” on an airplane some years ago and said it was very touching. I must see it sometime, especially as we age and wonder what will happen to us.

RIP, James Garner. Korea vet, two-time Purple Heart Recipient, supporter of our troops. Far more than just an actor.

    Memory eternal!

    Good bye, Maverick.

What’s scary is that I remember watching Maverick in the original broadcasts.
