  1. Katherine says:

Two violated personal and professional conduct standards and were fired. Bishop Sauls did not violate these standards but is relieved of duty because of the need for staff leadership. And there are still no specifics. If I were a member of TEC I wouldn’t have any idea what the problems were. The hiring of a firm called Human Synergistics tells me nothing other than the buzz words of “working towards a healthy culture” on the church staff.

  2. TomRightmyer says:

“violated established workplace policies and to have failed to live up to the Church’s standards of personal conduct in their relationships with employees,” Usually this means one of three things: sex, money, or power. My guess is power. The PB’s statement reads like it was approved by a lawyer, but it does not work to stop the speculation and gossip to which the church has always been prone.

  3. Luke says:

The two fired worked for Sauls.

What about accountability for your inferiors failures?
