    Kaspar: “Well, yes, but he knows the position of the Catholic Church, they have nothing to add to this component, that’s clear.”

    I like his idea of looking at differences in terms of complementary and contradictory rather then fundamental and non-fundamental. The fundamental-non-fundamental(Anglican approach) produces an incoherent message.

    Interesting tidbit that the ABC called Cardinal Kasper “in the middle of the night when it was announced”. That little bit of gossip can only have come ultimately from someone very, very close to the ABC.
