On a more personal note, I would like to offer thanks to the leadership of the parishes for all their hard work, and especially note the leadership of Terrell Glenn and Ed Kelaher, who, among many others, worked many long, hard and hidden hours to resolve this mess.
One hopes the background of this will surface in time. What happened to the decision to pursue the writ with the US Supreme Court? 815 met the deadline for place-holding alongside them. Did the Pawleys Island (non AMIA) people decide to withdraw on that alone? What was the nature of the relationship between them and the national church? This is very good news for the two parties in question, but the larger ramifications will be interesting to learn more about, as they touch on the strategy of 815’s legal team vis-a-vis the Diocese.
It will be interesting to read the Anglican Curmudgeon’s take on this important development, especially as to how it could possibly affect other parishes and dioceses, and in particular, our Anglican Diocese of San Joaquin.
As you know, Bishop Lamb and TEC have filed suit against three of our parishes, amd I’m sure they won’t stop with them.

This is wonderful news, and it is great timing on the eve of the diocesan convention also.
