Our parish had a prayer vigil last Saturday night to offer prayers, in part, for the future of the Anglican Communion. As I drove to the church at 1:30 AM, I turned on the radio. Wouldn’t you know it, Gene Robinson was being interviewed. The timing was priceless.

Will not many – of which I am one – see this as The ABC’s secret declaration of his real position? But why now, as Sept 31 approaches? I can speculate, but at last I am baffled.
