Our parish had a prayer vigil last Saturday night to offer prayers, in part, for the future of the Anglican Communion. As I drove to the church at 1:30 AM, I turned on the radio. Wouldn’t you know it, Gene Robinson was being interviewed. The timing was priceless.

Can someone summarise? I can’t face that 15 mins in my life!

See #3. Why would the ABC do this? What would he expect to gain? WIll this not be seen as a repudiation of Dar es Salaam? Will not many see this as betrayal of a trust? Will not many – of which I am one – see this as The ABC’s secret declaration of his real position? But why now, as Sept 31 approaches? I can speculate, but at last I am baffled. This appears to make little sense. Kendall closed this thread to comments, and I cannot understand why. This is a matter of real substance, not an opportunity for personal attacks. Larry
