    2300 page finance “reform” bill. 2100 page healthcare “reform” bill. Both are loaded with unintended consequences.

    Using Greed to fight Greed. I had no idea that greed, rather than producing something of value, was the engine of finance.

    Anyway, I’d rather have this “unintended consequence” than the unintended consequence of financial disaster through years of trusting those motivated by greed.

    As one generally suspicious of the elevation of whistleblowers to hero status, I think this provision is horrendous. It is an invitation to fraud and abuse.
