Thanks! As always…. making our lives easier!!

  2. SC blu cat lady says:

Please make this “sticky” so everyone can easily follow various posts here and elsewhere. A great post to recommend to people who may not be “in the know” about these recent events. I have already recommended T19 to some friends!

[Thank you SC blu cat lady – the post will be kept sticky – Elf]

  3. off2 says:

End of 1st para: “This post has been updated at 9 am EST Sunday November 21st, 2012.” Have I lost a month?

[Thanks – elves are on a lunar calendar]

  4. Randy Hoover-Dempsey says:

Could someone supportive of DofSC offer a concise, bulleted outline of the moral reasoning underlying the decision to disassociate from TEC? A moral skeleton that presumes the interested observer is familiar with the overlying layers is what I’m suggesting.

  5. Pageantmaster Ù† says:

#4 Thank you so much Randy Hoover-Dempsey – I was rather wondering that myself. I suspect that you can find the answer here where the lady concerned may explain exactly why she attacked the Bishop and Diocese of South Carolina and in so doing deliberately triggered their dissociation. Like you, I am at a complete loss to understand why she pressed the nuclear button. Please let me know what you find out.

Btw please don’t ask her if she is still taking her medicines, it wouldn’t be tactful in the circumstances, and she might just decide to depose you or something worse.

#4, here is exactly what you are looking for.

  7. QohelethDC says:

Secession does seem to be in South Carolina’s DNA. SC was also the first state to leave the Union after Lincoln was elected and folks feared they’d lose the right to own slaves.

South Carolina: The Secession State, 1860+2013

Has a certain alliterative ring to it. 😎
