If there was an offer made, he can file an employment discrimination suit against them for discrimination on the basis of religion. If he really wants to do it the American way, he can add counts in there for discrimination on the basis of race and national origin, and maybe sexual orientation (discriminated against because he is heterosexual and supports other heterosexuals).

Interesting to see the reaction of the some of the more progressive TEC bishops. Who knew Bishop Tengatenga (who was, and I think remains, chair of the ACC) had such a high approval rating from TEC progressives?
