    Not as long as the NYT says it is not. Near as I can tell from the story the now Pope Benedict was copied a memo (which he may not have actually seen), that he was at meeting about the transfer of the priest in question to receive therapy and that he knew about a reassignment. Note the article does not say reassignment leaving the reader to conclude it must mean the reassignment of the priest to active ministry after therapy. In all likelyhood it meant reassignment from one diocese to another.

    There truly is nothing new here at all. The NYT is just repackaging old information to slam the Pope.
