The last time I was at Kanuga, there were two different retreats going on simultaneously. The other one was something on “women’s spirituality.” The group I was with was strongly pressured to attend the Saturday night worship/celebration/spiritual enrichment thingy being put on by the women.
It consisted of dancing in a circle around five candles set in a pentagram.
This is an accurate description.
I probably won’t be going back there.
