“Some of the older people were saying, ‘How can you talk about underwear in church?’ — but once they realized there was such a need, everyone got around it,” church member and collection organizer Lelia Druzdis said.
Your local elementary school needs much of the same, particularly in the current economic climate. Underwear and socks go low on the priority list and kids will have accidents. Ask the Principal … I can’t imagine a better feeling for a child than not having to go back to class with soiled underwear.
