Ya’ll know him better than I do, but what I found today after a very quick search makes me think that he will fit right in with Bishop Waldo’s tragectory (maybe we should call it his tradgectory) for Upper SC.

Yep, you are right. Holy Cross Faith Memorial is one of the most liberal parishes in this diocese. When the votes at our convention come down clearly in support of our orthodox faith, they sit with stony faces and crossed arms. Yep he should be a perfect fit for Waldo.

Consider this an opportunity to call an orthodox rector. It is long stretch but worthy of prayer.

The story about Upper SC that everyone seems to be missing is that we are having a “special” convention in April to vote on (1) whether to allow same sex blessings and (2) whether to allow communion of the unbaptized. It is my understanding it will be closed during the deliberations and no minutes will be taken. There will then be a vote where a simple majority will decide on “theology” and which parts of the Constituion and Canaons we don’t have to follow. I’m hoping Kendall and/or Sarah will look into this and report back.

A local canon or resolution does not overturn a GC canon. If they try to get away with the nonbaptized Communion thing, Mrs Schori will need to sue them to stop it, since if she didn’t, it would be tantamount to doing the same thing that DioSJ or DioFW did.

#5–Yeah, right. Don’t hold your breath.
