Probably has a greater faith in Jesus than the adult bishop of her diocese.

Although he is certainly not orthodox, I am inclined to give +George Councell the benefit of the doubt, if only because 1. I know there are several thriving orthodox parishes in his diocese, whose mission he supports; and 2. he was one of the few liberal bishops, if not the only one, to vote against the deposition of ++Duncan.

The very predictable and gratuitously sharp, baseless statement in comment No. 1 took a very unexpected 21+ hours to come winging in. When I saw the post I started my stopwatch thinking it would be one of these blink responses. I was surprised at the general lassitude that seems to have overtaken us. The Elves must have given up, also. I think folks are slowing down for the holidays. That’s a good thing.
