Conger has reported that problems with Article X arose in the context of the HOB deliberations on ‘occasional services.’ Art X stipulates procedures for BCP revisions (two meetings necessary, etc) and also for trial rites. The latter take one vote, but require a supermajority. The total number of Bishops is 300+. How many are in Indianopolis? A supermajority is 153 I believe. If there are 175 Bishops in Indianapolis (I pull the number out of the air), that means 23 no votes would defeat it. Apparently +Ark arose to ask about this (probably wanting to avoid a challenge). Does anyone know where this stands?
