I feel that Bishop Lawrence and his clergy should consider it an honor for it to have happened when it did. On Maundy Thursday. Christ’s foot washing, the dipping of the sop, feeding the piece to Judas, then Judas turning Jesus over to the law. What a beautiful orchestration by God! Remember Christ’s words to Judas. “What you do, do quickly”. That is TEC’s excuse for it happening on Maundy Thursday! The time left forced them to file the charges quickly! Matthew 5: 10-12.
An absolute blessing to have it happen on Maundy Thursday!
