Where I am going this Evening with Bishop Mark Lawrence

The Primate of Rwanda Onesphore Rwaje and others are consecrating David Bryan at Church of the Apostles in Columbia, South Carolina and I am following along to learn and get a chance to have fellowship with those present.

May God’s Spirit be there and enfold and hold and encapsulate all so Christ’s Church can grow in strength and love. May all the bread given bring tears of overwhelming unbelievability that God IS!!!! May you be filled with knowledge that what Jesus spoke of is SO FREAKIN’ REAL!!

    AMEN!

Enjoy, Kendall. The pastor and some others from my church in Charlotte (affiliated with PEARUSA) will be there. I’m encouraged to see the increasing unity among the various Anglicans jurisdictions on the Carolinas.

May the little mouths searching from hunger (preternatural and regularl) be filled. May the representation be noticed. Amen!

Excellent – that’s very ecumenical of you.

PM [counting bishops to get to sleep]

I was there and it was fantastic. If TEC bishops had to take the same vows as PEAR/PEARUSA bishops, TEC wouldnt be in a mess. There is no wiggle room in the vows. The really neat thing is we had two Archbishops (North America and Rwanda) and a whole gaggle of other bishops including Mark Lawrence and Jack iker, 3 1/2 blocks from the seat of the Diocese of Upper SC. I thought Bishop Waldo might stop by to say Howdy, but I didn’t see him.

Believe you me, David Keller, Waldo knew he was there. I wonder how many other people from other churches in Waldo’s Diocese of Upper South Carolina were there. TEc keeps bringing in bishops from across TEc to help prop up von Rosenburgs group. I can guarantee there was more gnashing of teeth caused from one godly Bishop Lawrence than 20 squishops from TEc. It is such a hard thing trying to turn off God’s Light from Bishop Lawrence’s witness.

#7–I doubt anyone much was there from DUSC, but there may have been a spy. He or she might have needed to be careful not to be converted, however! Here’s an example of the liturgy–imagine your local TEC bsihop saying this: Q Are you ready, with all faithful diligence, to banish and drive away from the Church all erroneous and strange Doctrine contrary to God’s Word; and both privately and publically to call upon others and encourage them to do the same? A I am ready, the Lord being my helper. I could go on, because it gets better–but you get the general idea.

That is wonderful, David! Thank you for sharing that! 😀
