In other words you are free to practice your religion except when it conflicts with society norms or social opinion.
This makes an absolute mockery of freedom of religion. You are free to be a Christian, but you must offer incense to Caesar. It’s the same thing.
I was wondering what the Baptist take on all of this was, considering that Baptist health systems serve the area in which I live and I haven’t heard much of anything from their POV. I found this, which makes a lot of sense. This isn’t so much a religious fight as it is a political one.
