Langham Partnership–an Edited Video of the John Stott Funeral

Well worth the time–watch it all.

For those of you following the site with testimonies to the way in which the Lord used John Stott in their life, note that the number is now over 1,000 and rising and that a recent entry is from Elder Fu Xiangwei, the Chairman of the National Committee of the TSPM of the Protestant Churches in China, and the Rev. Gao Feng, the President of the China Christian Council. You may find that site over there–KSH.

This a bit off topic but I am curious – there is no pall and there are more than two floral arrangements at the altar. I was taught that these were two distinctive features of an Anglican funeral. It is a bit important to me because as the years pass I learn more and more that what I was taught to be “Anglican” in theology and in practice, isn’t and possible never was. It is more than a little bewildering.

But leaving that trivia behind, Stott was a true Godly man and he will rest in peace and rise in glory.
